Miriel — fantasy spellcaster

Miriel offers a character for stories in which knowledge can heal a community or place it at risk. She could be an alchemist weighing the terms of an exchange, a guide to an unfamiliar sanctuary, or the keeper of a remedy that the party needs. Give her a reason to hesitate before helping: a promise, a debt or a danger the adventurers have not understood. Her decision can then turn a simple request into an encounter with lasting consequences.
