C-3PO — Protocol Droid

C-3PO’s purpose is communication and protocol, although his friendships repeatedly draw him into galactic conflict. This model can bring a translator or diplomatic go-between into a story otherwise dominated by fighters. An encounter built around negotiating access or understanding another culture gives him a reason to matter on the table.
