Restore Mephiston Red on raised cloth. Gradually add Evil Sunz Scarlet and narrow each lighter layer towards the fold crests. Make the hood near the face brighter than the lower cloak. Soften a visible stripe with a thin Mephiston Red glaze, drying it before another pass; do not outline every fold equally.

Keep a thin Abaddon Black boundary around each eye. Paint Mephiston Red inside, then a smaller Evil Sunz Scarlet crescent on the lower lit area. Place one tiny White Scar reflection on the same upper side of both eyes. Preserve the gaze and keep red entirely off the eyelids and hood.

Keep Rhinox Hide between the teeth. Use the tip of a nearly unloaded brush to paint each tooth Ushabti Bone, then touch the lit tips with Screaming Skull. Work from the centre outwards and repair any ivory on the lips with the face colour. The grin must retain separate teeth rather than becoming a white bar.

6. Finish the model

Inspect the inner hood, neck, lower wraps and back of the cloak under neutral light. Correct missed patches with the existing colours. Once the paint is fully dry, apply thin Matt Varnish without pooling. After it cures, place a minute Ardcoat touch inside each eye only; leave cloth, skin, linen and teeth matte.
