Remove support marks and dust while preserving the chipped rim and rough sculpted surface. Clean the print for its material and dry it fully. Brush on thin Grey Surface Primer, reaching behind both rings and inside the neck.
Primer covers the recesses without filling them.
Do not sand away the intentional chips.

Mix Mournfang Brown with a little Doombull Brown for a red-brown base. Cover the vessel in thin coats, working around the bronze handles and into the rough surface without clogging it.
A warm red-brown covers the whole vessel.
Keep the loops and their mounts free of terracotta paint.
Where to paint: Bronze ring handles
Apply Balthasar Gold to the rings and their mounts. Turn the vase to catch their inner curves and undersides, using a fine tip near the terracotta body.
The handles are bronze on every visible side.
Do not spread metallic paint onto the neck.

Thin Rhinox Hide to a transparent glaze. Darken the lower-right side, the recess under the flared lip and the areas behind the handles. Keep the upper-left shoulder warm and bright.
The rounded body has a clear light and dark side.
Avoid a brown wash over the whole vase.

Run Agrax Earthshade around the handle mounts and along the lower inner curves. Lift any excess from the exposed fronts so the bronze does not become dull everywhere.
Dark joins separate the rings from the vessel.
Do not let the shade stain the terracotta shoulder.

Return to the red-brown base mix and thin it well. Pass over the broad front, leaving the lower shadows visible; use short uneven strokes that follow the original rough relief.
The front is warm without losing its shaded depth.
Do not cover every dark pit.

Gradually add Deathclaw Brown to Mournfang Brown. Build thin layers on the upper-left shoulder, making each lighter pass smaller. Let the sculpted texture show through instead of drawing new cracks.
The shoulder light fades naturally toward the lower body.
Do not brighten the shaded right side to match the left.

Lighten Deathclaw Brown with a little Balor Brown. Pick out the left shoulder texture and existing lip chips with small strokes; keep the lower body darker and avoid an unbroken pale outline.
The worn lip catches the light without turning white.
Do not add fresh chips to intact surfaces.
Where to paint: Bronze ring handles
Use Sycorax Bronze on the top and forward-facing arc of each ring. Keep the line short, with the strongest accent on the left handle; leave the inner lower curves dark.
Bronze reads as metal beside the matte clay.
Avoid silver outlines around the whole handles.

Place small touches of Nihilakh Oxide in sheltered recesses beside the mounts and inside the rings. Wipe the exposed edges clean while the paint is damp, keeping most of each handle visibly bronze.
Small turquoise deposits sit inside dark bronze recesses.
Do not wash turquoise over the terracotta body.

Inspect the hidden sides of the handles and the lower rim. Repair misplaced colour on the clay with the red-brown mix, adjusting it lighter on the shoulder. Preserve the dark gaps around the bronze mounts.
Clay and bronze stay distinct all around the vase.
Do not hide the source texture under thick corrections.
