Prepare one complete printable variant and preserve every vent, control and gemstone setting.
Choose either the helmeted or bare-head complete file; do not combine it with a split copy. Remove print dust and inspect the long nose, tail blade, weapon muzzle and rider's hands under a side light. Wash the model in warm water with a drop of dish soap, rinse it and let it dry completely. Apply Black Surface Primer in light passes from several angles, keeping the vent slots and gem settings open.
Expected result
The primer is thin and matte across the upper and lower shell, and every narrow vent remains open.
Points to watch
Do not prime a full and split version together or allow a wet coat to bridge the rider's fingers and controls.

2. Apply the base colours

Cover the shell with two thin coats of Mephiston Red. Mix a little Abaddon Black into the red and glaze it beneath the nose, around the rider's seat and into the roots of the rear fins. Thin Evil Sunz Scarlet and build several translucent layers along the upper-left ridge of the nose and the outward curves of the side fairings, keeping the lower-right surfaces in the deeper red.
Expected result
The shell changes smoothly from deep red underneath to scarlet on the upper-left curves, with no separate bright patches.
Points to watch
Do not fill the vent slats with red or coat the existing stones as part of the fairing.
Keep the flexible suit matte while making the controls and engine parts read as hard machinery.

Leave Abaddon Black in the suit folds, vent slots and deepest engine gaps. Brush Corvus Black across the raised suit ribs, gloves and control housings without filling the separations. Paint the exposed cylinders, muzzle and grille bars with Leadbelcher, keeping the surrounding recesses black.
Expected result
Soft black surfaces show gentle charcoal relief, while the engine cylinders and muzzle are clearly metallic.
Points to watch
Do not paint the entire underside silver or brighten the flexible suit with hard metallic lines.
Separate the rider from the crimson machine with warm matte armour and clear plate boundaries.

Apply Wraithbone in two thin coats, leaving a narrow black line at every joint. Work a little Ushabti Bone into the underside of the chest, beneath the shoulder rims and along the lower halves of the forearms and thighs. Touch Agrax Earthshade into the deepest joins only, then soften the edge with a clean damp brush before it dries.
Expected result
Every armour plate is opaque and matte, with warm shadow confined to its underside and joints.
Points to watch
Do not stain the helmet and chest with an all-over brown wash or cover the black undersuit between plates.

3. Build the highlights

Sharpen the sense of speed with a few narrow highlights on the leading edges.
Where to paint: Long nose, both side fairings, rear cowling and blade-shaped tail panels

Reinforce the lit edges with Evil Sunz Scarlet, keeping the stroke thinnest near the nose tip. Add Wild Rider Red only at the sharp nose point, the nearest fairing corner and the upper point of the tail blade. Break the line before it reaches the darker underside.
Expected result
Three or four bright edge accents connect the nose, side fairing and tail without outlining the entire bike.
Points to watch
Do not run Wild Rider Red around every panel or add glossy white streaks to the broad shell.
Concentrate the cleanest ivory on the head and upper torso, then let it fade along the limbs.
Where to paint: Helmet, chest, shoulder plates, forearm guards, belt plates and leg armour of the rider

Restore Wraithbone over the upward-facing planes. Use Screaming Skull in short strokes on the helmet brow, shoulder crowns and the front knee. Keep each stroke narrower than the plate beneath it, and stop before the highlight reaches the shadowed underside.
Expected result
The head is the brightest ivory area, while the arms and legs remain slightly warmer and quieter.
Points to watch
Do not outline every armour plate with the same pale line or make the lower limbs as bright as the helmet.

4. Paint the details

Give the visible mechanisms depth and polish only the edges that would catch wear.

Place Nuln Oil precisely around each cylinder and inside the muzzle, then restore Ironbreaker on the upper halves. Touch Stormhost Silver to the muzzle lip, the front ends of two grille bars and the nearest foot-control edge. Keep the metal strokes short so they remain smaller than the rider's armour highlights.
Expected result
The mechanics have dark joins, mid-steel bodies and only a few bright contact edges.
Points to watch
Do not flood the vent recesses or leave a bright silver ring around every cylinder.
Finish each existing gemstone as a small glass accent without adding new lights to the shell.
Where to paint: Sculpted gems on the nose, controls and rear fairing

Paint a clean Abaddon Black rim inside each sculpted setting. Fill the stone with Turquoise, then mix a little Screaming Skull into the colour for a crescent along the lower-right edge. Add one tiny Screaming Skull dot at the upper-left. On the smallest stones, use only the dark rim, one turquoise mark and one pale dot.
Expected result
Every gem has a dark rim, a turquoise body, a lighter lower crescent and one aligned reflection point.
Points to watch
Do not place turquoise dots on rivets, vents or smooth red areas that have no sculpted gemstone.
