Clean and prime the Immortal
Inspect the cured print for support marks around the thin fingers and gun tubes; trim them without bending the parts. If release residue remains, wash the model, rinse it and let it dry completely. Apply a thin even coat of Black Surface Primer while turning the miniature.
Expected result
The primer is dry and continuous, with eye slits and chest gaps still open.
Points to watch
Do not fill the energy tubes or force the narrow fingers.

1. Prepare the model

2. Apply the base colours

Brush two thin coats of Leadbelcher across the skeletal plates and joints. Leave the eye recesses, chest slots and gun tubes dark for later green work.
Expected result
The body reads as one metal material without obscuring the joints.

Keep metallic paint out of the energy recesses.
Separate the bronze trim

Balthasar Goldcitadel · 21-29
Apply Balthasar Gold inside the raised trim. Turn the miniature so the brush reaches the gun fittings without sliding onto the steel chest.
Expected result
Bronze accents are distinct from the steel body.
Points to watch
Do not spread bronze across the flat shoulder plates.
Block in the blaster casing
Where to paint: Dark blaster frame
Abaddon Blackcitadel · 21-25
Cover the blaster panels with thin Abaddon Black, steering around the metallic rims and the tube interiors. The dark frame will give the green a clean boundary.
Expected result
The frame is opaque black and the energy channels remain accessible.
Points to watch
Do not coat over the raised bronze brackets.
Lay the deep green foundation

Caliban Greencitadel · 21-12
Place Caliban Green carefully inside each sculpted energy recess. Keep the body and gun borders clean; this dark foundation is needed before brighter green.
Expected result
Every visible energy recess has a dark green base.
Points to watch
Do not paint a glow onto smooth armour where no channel exists.

3. Build the shadows

Give the skeleton depth

Nuln Oilcitadel · 24-14
Guide Nuln Oil into the joints and beneath the overlapping plates. Remove any pool from the broad front of the helmet before it stains the focal area.
Expected result
Dark joints separate the steel plates while their broad faces stay readable.
Points to watch
Do not flood the green tubes with black shade.
Settle the bronze into its recesses
Where to paint: Bronze trim
Agrax Earthshadecitadel · 24-15
Touch Agrax Earthshade only into the bronze recesses, then draw it away from the flat steel plates.
Expected result
Bronze remains warm, with darker joints and clean steel nearby.
Points to watch
Do not wash the entire shoulder in brown.

4. Build the highlights

Brighten the energy cores

Layer Warpstone Glow toward the centre of each existing green tube, keeping Caliban Green visible at the edges. Add a narrower stroke in the chest recesses.
Expected result
Green channels have bright centres and darker borders.
Points to watch
Do not cover the dark foundation completely.
Restore the lit steel edges
Where to paint: Worn metal body
Ironbreakercitadel · 22-59
Use the side of a nearly dry brush tip to place short Ironbreaker lines on only the edges facing the key light. Let the shaded joints remain dark.
Expected result
Selected edges read sharply without outlining every plate.
Points to watch
Avoid a continuous bright outline around the whole body.

5. Paint the details

Finish the eye and tube accents

Moot Greencitadel · 22-24
Add tiny Moot Green touches to the eyes and a few narrow peaks along the gun tubes. Leave the rest of the green transition visible.
Expected result
The face and weapon carry a few focused bright points rather than an even neon fill.
Points to watch
Do not expand highlights into new glowing shapes on the armour.
