Restore the warm midtone
Where to paint: Ivory crown, cup and roots
Ushabti Bonecitadel · 22-32
Brush thin Ushabti Bone over the front of the roots and the lower crown where the grey spread too far. Leave the deepest fork dark and soften the join with small overlapping strokes.
Expected result
The warm ivory returns without erasing the underside shadow.
Points to watch
Keep opaque paint out of the darkest root gap.
Blend the rounded crown
Where to paint: Ivory crown, cup and roots
Ushabti Bonecitadel · 22-32
Screaming Skullcitadel · 22-33
Gradually lighten Ushabti Bone with Screaming Skull. Build thin overlapping layers toward the upper-left lobes, shrinking each lighter area and leaving the cup interior warmer and darker.
Expected result
Ivory passes smoothly from the lit crown to the shaded side.
Points to watch
Do not make every root as bright as the crown.
Light the upper lobes
Where to paint: Ivory crown, cup and roots
Screaming Skullcitadel · 22-33
Apply thin Screaming Skull to the upper-left crown lobes and the rounded front lip. Pull the paint toward the crest of each curve, letting the warm base remain visible below.
Expected result
The top catches the light while the lower roots stay subdued.
Points to watch
Avoid a white outline around the entire opening.
Refine the brightest ivory
Where to paint: Ivory crown, cup and roots
Screaming Skullcitadel · 22-33
Pallid Wych Fleshcitadel · 22-58
Add Pallid Wych Flesh to Screaming Skull for a pale ivory glaze. Build it only on the upper-left crests, softening each edge into the previous highlight before it dries.
Expected result
Small pale areas sit inside broader warm highlights.
Points to watch
Do not leave chalky patches on the smooth crown.
Add tiny rim glints
Where to paint: Ivory crown, cup and roots
White Scarcitadel · 22-57
With a nearly unloaded brush, touch White Scar onto the highest left rim and the peak of the front lobe. Keep these marks much smaller than the pale ivory beneath them.
Expected result
A few crisp accents sharpen the focal area without changing its colour.
Points to watch
Do not dot white across the roots or cup interior.
