Clean up the broad panels
Where to paint: Purple body and inner wall
Xereus Purplecitadel · 22-09
Use thin Xereus Purple to cover unwanted dark patches on the broad flutes. Follow their length, keeping the narrow valleys and the bottom edge visibly darker.
Expected result
The broad faces are clean purple and still separated by shadow.
Points to watch
Do not paint over the dark lower gradient.
Blend toward the lit rim

Genestealer Purplecitadel · 22-10
Lighten Xereus Purple gradually with Genestealer Purple. Overlap thin layers up the front-left flutes, reducing the area as the mix gets lighter so the upper body brightens without a pale band.
Expected result
The front-left body lightens smoothly toward the neck.
Points to watch
Do not turn the middle of the vase into a pale horizontal stripe.
Light the upper flutes

Genestealer Purplecitadel · 22-10
Paint thin Genestealer Purple on the outward bulges below the front-left lip. Taper the strokes downward and leave the right side and inner bowl darker, following the light in the reference.
Expected result
Light is strongest near the upper-left lip, not across the whole vase.
Points to watch
Leave purple visible between the pale ridges.
Refine the pale lilac

Pallid Wych Fleshcitadel · 22-58
Lighten Genestealer Purple with a little Pallid Wych Flesh, keeping the mixture visibly lilac. Thin it and glaze the upper parts of the existing highlights, softening the lower boundary into the darker lilac beneath.
Expected result
The brightest lilac occupies less space than the first highlight.
Points to watch
Do not leave opaque chalky spots on the rounded lip.
Pick out the brightest lip

Pallid Wych Fleshcitadel · 22-58
Touch Pallid Wych Flesh onto a few front-left rim peaks with a nearly unloaded brush. Keep each mark shorter than the lilac highlight below it; leave the rear rim quieter.
Expected result
A few bright points sharpen the lip without making a white ring.
Points to watch
Do not connect the glints into an unbroken outline.
