Prepare the deep track channels and paired gun openings without burying them.
Check the spaces between the paired barrels, beneath the turret lip and inside both track runs for trapped dust. Wash the tank with warm water and a drop of dish soap, rinse well and let the recesses dry overnight. Mist Black Surface Primer from the front, both sides and above; finish with one light pass from below so the inner track faces are covered without becoming glossy.
Expected result
The primer is uniformly matte and the barrel bores, track teeth and hatch seams remain open.
Points to watch
Do not hold the spray on the front track corners or flood the narrow gap between the guns.

1. Prepare the model

Prepare the deep track channels and paired gun openings without burying them.

Check the spaces between the paired barrels, beneath the turret lip and inside both track runs for trapped dust. Wash the tank with warm water and a drop of dish soap, rinse well and let the recesses dry overnight. Mist Black Surface Primer from the front, both sides and above; finish with one light pass from below so the inner track faces are covered without becoming glossy.
Expected result
The primer is uniformly matte and the barrel bores, track teeth and hatch seams remain open.
Points to watch
Do not hold the spray on the front track corners or flood the narrow gap between the guns.

2. Apply the base colours

Unify the super-heavy hull in a deep military olive while keeping the track wells black.
Where to paint: Olive hull sides, glacis, deck, turret and both weapon mantlets

Apply Olive Green 69.028 in two thin coats, brushing along each large plate. Mix in a little Ogryn Camo and spread the lighter olive across the turret roof, upper glacis and top half of the side panels, leaving a darker band above the tracks.
Expected result
The tank reads as one olive vehicle, with a clear but soft lift across the roof and upper side plates.
Points to watch
Keep olive out of the track links, gun bores, exhaust opening and recessed sponson weapon.

3. Build the shadows

Define the heavy construction without turning every rivet into a black dot.
Where to paint: Olive hull sides, glacis, deck, turret and both weapon mantlets

Place Nuln Oil directly into the turret ring, hatch seams and the joins around both gun mantlets. Clean the neighbouring plates before the shade dries. Restore Ogryn Camo along the upper side breaks, then touch Khaki 72.061 to the front corners of the turret and the two nearest glacis edges.
Expected result
The turret, hatches and glacis are clearly separated, while the olive midtone still dominates the model.
Points to watch
Do not ring every rivet with Nuln Oil or draw a continuous pale line around the entire tank.

4. Paint the details

Separate the paired guns and track mass without making every metal surface equally bright.
Where to paint: Twin main barrels, complete track runs, side sponson gun, exhaust and small fittings

Paint the recesses between track links Abaddon Black, then cover the raised links and both barrels with Leadbelcher. Shade the metal with Nuln Oil. Once dry, drag Ironbreaker along the track faces that touch the ground and around the upper halves of the barrel rings; leave the lower barrels and inner track runs dark.
Expected result
The two barrels remain a matched pair, track teeth are readable, and the deepest mechanics stay dark.
Points to watch
Do not fill either muzzle with silver and do not drybrush the olive side panels while working on the tracks.

5. Add effects and weathering

Anchor the tank to the ground with a narrow dust band and a few contact marks.
Where to paint: Lower side plates, track curves and hull behind the tracks

Thin Khaki 70.988 and stipple it along the bottom edge of the side plates, keeping the dust band lower than the track guards. Deepen the rear corners with a little Agrax Earthshade. Add three or four tiny Chipping Brown 69.035 chips to forward corners and put Ironbreaker on the leading edge of only one or two.
Expected result
Dust hugs the running gear, wear faces forward, and the broad olive panels remain uncluttered.
Points to watch
Do not cover the turret with dust and do not enlarge chips beyond the nearby rivet heads.
